My friend loves lemon in her water. She squeezes every little bit of juice into her glass. However, the seeds then fall out into the glass. And my friend hates lemon seeds. She has an irrational fear of sucking up a lemon seed in her straw and choking on it. So she spends the next 5-10 minutes trying, with her fork, to get every lemon seed out of her glass from where said seeds are hiding among the ice. Usually she gets the seed right to the top of the glass and then it slides off the fork and slowly sinks down into the ice again. While it is highly entertaining, after watching her do this during hundreds of meals, I shelled out the $6.75 and bought this lemon squeezing bird for her as a gift. The juice comes out but it catches the seeds. It is a little large but she always carries a backpack instead of a purse so she's got plenty of room for the lemon birdie.
