It is the most efficient juicer I have ever used, squeezes the lemons and limes almost to the last drop and leaves all the pits behind. However, despite the fact the it feels as solid as stainless steel, it is not. After one month of use I have noticed small bumps on the surface of the cups, especially the bottom one, and now I see rust peeking thru the crackling chrome. I am very disappointed, because I really love the way it works, but I am not sure for how much longer... :-(( 9 of 9 people found the following review helpful Works great!, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: RSVP Endurance Lemon & Lime Juicer (Kitchen) I have tried a bunch of different citrus juice extractors, for juicing a handfull of lemons at at time, this works great.Compared to other "pliers" juicers, this is made of stainless steel so does not leech toxins like plastic or aluminum. I find hand-held "auger" juicers squirt juice around and make mess. This rarely squirts. I find tabletop "auger" juicers of glass chip and break; aluminum and plastic leak toxins; I have yet to find a stainless one that works as well as a glass auger. Most big "lever" juicers are aluminum. The one stainless one I got worked well but then broke. For bigger juicing jobs, an electric auger juicer is much faster at juicing, but is more hassle to clean. A limit of this juicer is it is good for fruit only up to some size. They don't chip, as the enamel ones do, and the ones made for either lemon or lime are, additionally, unnecessarily cumbersome. They are easier to clean, as well. They may be twice as expensive as the enamel ones, but they will last much longer. |
